Ancient Stone Seal Found in Jerusalem

The name ‘Matanayahu’ is engraved on what was probably an ancient signet ring.

It was found near the Western Wall of Temple Mount and dates back 2,700 years. The engraving, ‘Matanayahu Ben Ho,’ means ‘giving to God’, and was likely used for sealing letters and signing documents. Archaeologists are thrilled by the discovery.
