A school of tiny Lined Seahorse babies have been born at an aquarium in Bournemouth.

This is a great success, since the Lined Seahorse is dangerously close to extinction. The minuscule babies are dwarfed by even the smallest of items, like the tip of a pencil. They are being fed Artemia plankton (more commonly known as sea-monkeys) and will reach their full size in about a year. Here’s a video of seven-month-old Lined Seahorses:
