Huge Hungry Bryde’s Whale Caught on Camera

This gentle giant was filmed off the coast of Cabo San Lucas in Mexico.
Bryde’s whales are incredibly elusive and largely a mystery to science, so these shots of one scooping up sardines are extremely rare. They’re nimble for being 50 feet long: “They came in so fast that they seemed to just appear out of nowhere right next to us – it was very unnerving,” said photographer Doug Perrine.
