New Shrimp-Like Creature Found in Cave

New Shrimp Creature

This new species was found in a cave just east of Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Blind and pale, it’s still a mystery to scientists. Researchers still aren’t sure what it eats, where exactly it fits into the animal kingdom, or even what to name it. There are plans to make more surveys of the area to see what other creatures might turn up.
