Pandas May Have Once Roamed Europe

A panda-like fossil skeleton was found in Spain.
Proto-panda would have been a plant-eating, tree climbing bear that roamed Spain about 11 million years ago. It was also much smaller than any modern bears. The black and white pattern it likely shared with the Giant Panda is a common primitive color pattern for bears.
