The largest single photo of the Earth ever taken.

Most sweeping panoramas of the Earth from space are taken by combining many smaller pictures, but not this one. Each pixel represents about one square kilometer of land. Vegetation shows up red instead of green due to the infrared technology used to capture this incredible image.
