The 86MPH Teardrop

This is the father of modern aerodynamics.

Meet the 1914 A.L.F.A. 40/60 Aerodinamica Prototype, which could reach 86 miles per hour on only 70 horsepower. Its teardrop shape was revolutionary, but unfortunately, in never made it to mass-production. It was just too heavy, too clunky, and too strange-looking for its time.
